Piotr Anderszewski is a sensitive storyteller who delves deep into the layers of the music with his unmistakably velvety touch. Like a seismograph, he captures the slightest emotional nuances, transforming them into a profound listening experience.
At the heart of the evening is the musical testament of two masters: Anderszewski dedicates himself to a selection of Johannes Brahms' late piano pieces, Op. 116 to 119. He focuses entirely on the inner voice of these character pieces, bringing their distinct emotional worlds to the surface through his nuanced playing. He juxtaposes these intimate works with Ludwig van Beethoven's visionary final piano sonata in C minor.
