Piano recital by Alexandra Dovgan
Johann Sebastian Bach
Toccata in E minor, BWV 914
Franz Schubert
Piano Sonata in C minor, D 958
Frédéric Chopin
Barcarolle in F-sharp major, Op. 60
Piano Sonata No. 3 in B minor, Op. 58
Alexandra Dovgan sees herself as a ‘painter’ when she takes her seat at the piano and creates art with sound. The pianist, who is just 19 years old, knows exactly what she wants artistically. With her solo programme, this musician – who is at the very start of an international career – creates a colourful soundscape in which masterful piano music is heard in all its facets.
