The evening's program features Mozart's Variations on "Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman!", which transform the simple song theme into a kaleidoscope of fantasy. This is followed by Beethoven's "Appassionata" as a milestone full of dramatic contrasts, before Schubert's Sonata in B-flat Major brings the concert to a close.
