schön&gut ‘Under the Open Sky’

The open-air play *Die Blutbuche* is staged in Grosshöchstetten only once every 50 years, and for just one evening, because the tree is felled at the end of the play. But the director, Ms Gut, soon finds herself at her wits’ end, as the mayor, Mr Kellenberger, won’t take any advice; the extras, Hans and Heiri, say a lot, but always the wrong thing; and Mr Schön isn’t interested in clinging to old traditions anyway. In other words: everyone is riding and talking at cross purposes… The seventh production by schön&gut once again delivers witty satire, boundless imagination, wordplay, singing and rapid-fire role changes.
