Dance and sound performance
night body night voice is a dance and sound performance about the fear of being alone at night in a female-read body. This fear sits deep in the body, shimmers in the eyes and leaves a distinct taste in the mouth. It is fuelled by stories, cautionary tales, that refer to or report on experiences of sexualised violence. What are we (not) taught to be afraid of in these stories? How could we rewrite the stories and approach more accurate narratives? Charlotte and her team will be sharing sketches, scenes and ideas and are looking forward to feedback and dialogue.
