Stacey Kent

Music about places, memories and a longing for faraway places: Stacey Kent returns to the Neumünster in Zurich with ‘Songs From Other Places’. Together with Jim Tomlinson and Art Hirahara, the jazz singer performs pieces by Antônio Carlos Jobim, Paul Simon and Lennon & McCartney, blending them with her own compositions, created in collaboration with Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro. In the intimate atmosphere of the church, the trio creates an evening full of subtle nuances, musical elegance and narrative depth.
