The Jackson Singers

The Jackson Singers have been thrilling audiences for decades with their traditional spirituals and unique gospel sound. The world-famous choir will be in Switzerland for six concerts in December 2023. Under the title "Gospel Magic", the tour promises thrilling experiences.

At their performances, the Jackson Singers ensure time and again that their overwhelming joie de vivre spills over into the audience. The energy of the gospel is infectious and the catchy rhythms immediately find their way into the hands and feet of the listeners, who still love to move to the beat. With the songs, messages of love, joie de vivre and passion are delivered. The irrepressible joy with which the songs are interpreted is what gives the choir its special charm and has been delighting audiences without interruption since the 1980s. It is not without reason that the Jackson Singers, one of the oldest original Black Gospel choirs in the German-speaking world, have been touring the stages of this world with constant success. in 1989, the first tour through Switzerland took place - a smash hit! Countless other performances followed and the enthusiasm remained unbroken both on the part of the audience and the choir itself.

The Jackson Singers combine virtuosity and emotion to create a concert experience in a class of its own. Music greats such as Michael Jackson, Meatloaf, Anna Rossinelli or Helene Fischer have also become aware of the group and have already performed together with the Jackson Singers.

The choir attaches particular importance to a varied show at their concerts. The considerable repertoire, which ranges from traditional spirituals and gospel songs like "Kumbajah", "Motherless Child" or "Oh' Happy Day" to pop ballads with a religious background, proves to be helpful. The gifted sound artists sing about the "Battle of Jericho" as well as the last day in "When The Saints Go Marching In" and regularly sweep their audience away with the most beautiful songs of "black" America, but also German-language and American church songs. The harmony of the top soloists and the choir is overwhelming. They create worlds of emotion with their voices and certainly leave no one untouched. An atmosphere that is otherwise only known from church services in the USA also comes to Swiss stages thanks to the Jackson Singers.
