Overnight, ordinary family man and professor Paul Matthews (Nicolas Cage) becomes a social media phenomenon. For inexplicable reasons, he appears in other people's dreams. Unlike Freddy Krueger from A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, however, he poses no danger there. As in real life, his appearances are unexciting and banal. Nevertheless, he is showered with attention and everyone wants to profit from it.
