Workshop «Licence to Perform»

For truly effective communication, you need not only a good story (which you can learn in our “Licence to Tell” workshop), but also, crucially, a compelling delivery. It’s not just about the “what”, but always about the “how” as well. After all, without a lively, gripping narrative and presentation style, even the best story is boring.

In this half-day workshop, we’ll demonstrate the tools we’re naturally equipped with and how to use them effectively. This includes, amongst other things, the use of the voice, facial expressions and body language. We’re not reinventing the wheel here, but rather highlighting techniques you may already be familiar with, refreshing them and adding new insights. As always, the focus is on practical application; the workshop is primarily about trying things out and practising. And we’ll reveal a few #letsmuseeum insider tips.

The workshop is ideal for experienced educators who want to refresh their skills or work on any areas needing improvement. It’s equally recommended for those new to educational outreach who want to learn and experiment during the workshop to discover what makes for a good performance and how to gain more confidence.
