Wortcollagen
a (writing) workshop
This workshop invites you to rediscover language: not through writing in the traditional sense, but by collecting, joining and cutting. Words and sentences from print media are intuitively rearranged and condensed into text collages and your own word-images.
Following a brief introduction and some inspiration drawn from my own work, the focus shifts to the individual creative process.
Working with word collages opens up sensory, associative approaches to language, fosters creativity, can help overcome writer’s block, enables new word combinations and awakens a joy in playing with text.
The course is suitable for anyone who enjoys experimenting and is keen to engage in a creative process.
Maximum number of participants: 6 people
Please bring: print media (magazines, journals, newspapers, etc.) to cut out, your own scissors and a glue stick
