The friends Abdallah and Jehad were born in the Gaza Strip. They know little about freedom, but they believe in their sport: parkour. The professional athlete Abdallah has managed to escape from Gaza. However, his friend Jehad still lives there and trains young athletes for whom sport is the only thing that gives them hope in the midst of the conflict. Is it better to leave to realise your dreams or to stay to fight for your country? This question runs like a thread through this deeply moving account of personal challenges.

In 2013, Abdallah - the founder of the Gaza Parkour Team - was invited to Italy for a workshop. There is no going back to the Gaza Strip for him. His dream is to become a professional parkour athlete in Europe. But life as an illegal immigrant is hard. No job, no bed, no room to train. His friend Jehad, the co-founder of the team, is still stuck in the Gaza Strip. He trains long and hard every day with his teammates, trying to give hope to the younger members of the team. Abdallah hasn't spoken to Jehad in a long time: He is ashamed of the hard times he is going through. If you would like to pay for your ticket in cash as before, you can obtain it at the reception of the Volkarthaus at Turnerstrasse 1 during business hours.
