Five art experiences in which one loses oneself and the boundaries between art and the person looking at it become blurred.

Eleven years ago I had my first immersive art experience, without knowing what it meant at the time. The installation "The Visitors" by Ragnar Kjartansson in the Migros Museum opened up a new world of art for me in which I could literally lose myself. Since then, I have been enthusiastic about this fascinating way of presenting art and am always on the lookout for opportunities to immerse myself in exciting art worlds. Five art recommendations to immerse yourself in:

"The Visitor" is back

The installation by Ragnar Kjartansson that gave me that exhilarating experience so long ago is back: until 28 May, you can experience it for free at the Migros Museum. In the video installation, nine musicians play in different rooms of an old mansion and visitors can wander around and listen to them. An impressive experience of music, poetry and visual aesthetics.
