The coming weeks will be – there’s no other way to put it – summery! Literary delights at the mill, on the lake and in the rose garden.

Summer is when the dog days are upon us

In the courtyard of the Tiefenbrunnen Mill, literature, music and balmy nights come together. Taking to the literary stage this year are Dana Grigorcea with Dancing Woman, Blue Rooster, Seraina Kobler with Tal der Schwalben, Franziska Gänsler with ORCA and Leon Engler with Botanik des Wahnsinns. There will also be summer drinks, food and free admission.

Thursdays 9 July, 16 July, 23 July and 30 July, at 6 pm each day.

For four weeks, the courtyard of the Kulturareal Mühle Tiefenbrunnen will be transformed into an open space for literature, music and conversation.

Poetry slam on the raft at Badi Enge

Once again this year, ‘Wortgewaltig’ is setting sail with a poetry slam right in the heart of Lake Zurich. Eight wordsmiths will battle it out for the evening’s crown with pieces brimming with wit, depth and surprises. A dip in the lake and a summer’s-evening atmosphere are included.

This summer, we’re heading out onto the lake once again to host three poetry slams at the beautiful Flossbadi Enge on Lake Zurich.

Summer readings in the Rose Garden

Literature in the open air: The AMSEL writers’ collective invites you to a summer’s evening filled with stories, poetry, crime fiction and improv in the rose garden at the Pfisterareal. In the event of bad weather, the event will take place at the Kulturcafé in the Pfistertreff.
