Live music in December

Molly Nilsson was my faithful companion on long walks through a chilly Berlin. Her cool synth-pop fits so perfectly with the grey concrete of the big city; no wonder the Swedish singer has lived there for so long and lets her wondrous hits flourish.

We haven’t heard much from Fri3ser so far; their debut album isn’t due out until next year. But whatever Lucca Fries – a member of the innovative jazz groups Ikarus and Hely – gets his hands on is certainly exciting. Fri3ser is all about creating rock beats on the piano, and the first video snippets leave you wanting more.

Exactly, probably none, which is why the beatmaker from Detroit is also dropping by the Garage. And he’s bringing Morlockko Plus with him too – the super-smooth alter ego of Morlockk Dilemma.

14 Dec | Helsinki, Zurich

How many times do you have to play back-to-back before everyone has finally seen their favourite concert? Dino Brandão, Faber and Sophie Hunger are giving it a go this December. These local heroes are playing their hit album *Ich liebe dich* no fewer than five times. Tickets are only still available for the final extra concert on 30 December.
