A break from gardening in February

Coffee, tea, cosy chats and an encounter with the versatile elderberry.

The garden and nature are at rest. Time for a cosy chat!

Once a month at the Gardener’s Cottage, there’s tea, coffee, firewood and time to chat about gardens and the world. Along with some insights into our green surroundings, there’s also something to discover or try out.

In February, the focus is on the elderberry. Many stories revolve around the magical properties of this shrub. What effects does the elderberry actually have on people and animals?

We’ll explore this versatile plant and its impact on biodiversity. And we’ll share tips on how we can use it (flowers, leaves, berries and branches). Anyone who’d like to can take cuttings under expert guidance and grow their own elderberry bush.

For curious and sociable people from all over the world. No prior knowledge required. Come and go as you please. The session begins at 2.15 pm.

Venue: Gärtnerhaus, Gutstrasse 195 (please feel free to come in)
