Plants are grown in the city nursery's production facility: from cut flowers and vegetable seedlings to potted plants. The park with its sand garden and large trees invites you to relax and take a stroll. An exotic world of plants can be discovered in the palm, tropical and subtropical house. Grün Stadt Zürich also runs an education centre, a platform for exhibitions, courses and events on green topics, in the unique ambience of the city nursery. The site is ideal for combining theory and practice. What is learnt in the seminar rooms can be put into practice outdoors.
