Robert Walser’s micrograms

The more than 500 sheets from Robert Walser’s estate, covered in tiny lines of pencil writing, were initially thought to be written in a secret code or simply illegible. The legendary deciphering of these texts added a crucial new dimension to the work. Marcel Lepper examines this work of the century together with the philosopher Katia Schwerzmann (Lausanne/Berlin/Bochum), the historian of medicine Michael Hagner (Zurich/Vienna/Berlin) and the textual critic Christian Walt (Zurich).
