Interactive laboratory for material research
Touching allowed! Whether glass, metal, wood, paper, plastics, rocks, ceramics, paints, textiles or even leather - the permanently installed material archive is an interactive laboratory for material research and provides broad access to materials with well over 1000 material samples and a rich display collection, an online database, film and audio stations as well as experiment tables. With a completely new form of presentation, the exhibition awakens the fascination and desire for the world of materials. For an interested public, professionals, vocational and higher education institutions of technical and design orientation, as well as school classes of all levels, the Material Archive is a workshop for pleasurable learning, a place for rummaging, puzzling, researching and discovering.
