MINI-LARP: SENSE
Maxim Theatre: In-between Spaces
LARP stands for Live Action Role Play. It involves immersing oneself in a world and a theme through an immersive, improvised role-playing game. “Sense” is a mini-LARP about a school class that remains connected for life and meets regularly for specific occasions. The LARP is about friendship, loss, memory, joy, grief and mortality, but above all about death and life. Because at some point, it’s simply – Sense.
Hardly any other subject affects absolutely everyone as universally as death. And yet we are often overwhelmed by it. “Sense” addresses these questions through a fictional plot and characters. It is an artistic attempt to destigmatise the subject of death and to confront this sense of being overwhelmed with empathy.
