Oceans in danger

In this concert with plucked instruments by Daniel Hess at the GZ Affoltern, which is suitable for children aged 4 and over, we not only learn about the beauty and diversity of the sea, but also that the oceans are threatened by waste, oil drilling, overfishing and deep-sea shipping.

Masterpieces of nature

On Sunday, there will be guided tours through the permanent exhibition "Masterpieces of Nature" at the Zoological and Palaeontological Museum of the University of Zurich. You can admire the beautiful fossils that the artist Nature has created in her underground studio over the last 550 million years using pressure and minerals.

Forest protection and raw material theft

Students in Peru are campaigning for reforestation in the Amazon, while in Colombia coal mining by commodity companies is causing environmental damage. Climate Grandparents Zurich discuss these issues with Ursula Locher.
