Theatre Highlights in May

Im Mai trifft Theater auf Feminismus, Nachtleben, Theatersport, Reality TV und mehr. Diese Inszenierungen lege ich euch besonders ans Herz.

Young people meet the night

In the "BUSLOCH", the mobility hole between the last and the first bus into the Agglo, that's where the new play by the Spielclub Baden is set. Seven young people investigate encounters of the night and bring them noisily, movably and light-fast onto the rehearsal stage of the Kurtheater Baden.

Crazy Isa meets the outside world

In "Pictures of Your Great Love" we follow Isa on her search for freedom. She doesn't want to arrive anywhere, she doesn't want to be subordinate and, above all, she doesn't want to grow up. The unreliable narrator, who already appears in Herrndorf's award-winning novel Tschick and messes everything up, gets her very own story in this production.

Tsurigo meets AlsWir

A theatre sports duel is always a unique evening full of surprises and unexpected twists. With input from the audience, the two duos improvise everyday situations and try to outdo their opponents with their spontaneity and wit. A guaranteed funny and entertaining evening.

Reality TV meets matriarchy in the Amazon

"Keeping Up With The Penthesileas" will have its world premiere at the Neumarkt Theatre this May. the central questions are: is there a true feminism in a false patriarchy? Is there real empowerment beyond advertising and product placement in capitalism? What does visibility mean and for whom?

Model city meets feminism
