Simone Liedtke

Simone Liedtke is a freelance writer, but it’s hard to pin her beat down. She’s too curious, and her interests to myriad, to make a steady beat make sense. She’s an artist and illustrator. She studied philosophy and worked for two decades as a commercial graphic artist. She’s also a trained art therapist and leads her a painting studio in Zurich. She’s the mother of two teenage girls, and makes her home in Zurich with her family and a very fat cat.

Whom would you rather never have met? My cat. She’s out to sabotage my life.

What do you fear more; the judgement of a friend or the judgment of enemies? I don’t have any enemies, and my (boy)friend is nice.

When did you stop believing you could become wiser – or do you still believe it? Give your age. It happened for the first time at 33. But that ended up not being true, so it happened again at 48.

What do you need in order to be happy? A ring.

"YOU WANT IT DARKER - Songs about the approaching death"

The title of the new exhibition at the Friedhof Forum sounds simple. However, the topic is treated in a very complex way and on different levels.
