Artificial Emotion — Open Research Studio
Kinetic art, soft mechanics and experiments in movement
Artificial Emotion is an ongoing artistic research project by Lina Lopes exploring kinetic art, soft mechanics, materials and movement. At its core is a question: how can mechanical movement begin to feel bodily, expressive or strangely alive?
For one afternoon, the studio in Wetzikon opens its process to the public. Visitors are invited to see prototypes, mechanisms, textile and material experiments, sketches and works-in-progress, and to spend time with a research process that is still unfolding.
This is not a finished exhibition, but an invitation into the process.
